The Grey Republic

So in case you didn’t know, The Republic had a night out on Thursday, March 26th. It was at Lucky Strike in LA Live, and I must say, it definitely exceeded expectations than what I had noticed on www.yelp.com. The atmosphere is low key, dimly lit (not too dim) and the drinks were moderately priced, considering the location. People were bitching about a dress code, but why would you go out to LA Live rocking sweatpants and a baggy hoodie? If you are a bowling fanatic, this is not the place to go. It’s more for drinking and hanging out while bowling. There’s a ton of plush seating and couches to accommodate non bowlers at the lanes as well, which was me. If you can, mess with the party rates, cuz they bring out unlimited food for the time you are there, just gotta keep asking for it. A good time was had by those who showed up. To those who didn’t (the other OJ and Alonzo from In The Zone), you missed out and I hope you’re salty for reading this. Didn’t take many pics, because I was busy stuffing my face, but oh well.

My mans quan sucked at bowling, so he gave the patented Ryu HADOKEN tactic a try and damn near got a strike every time. Go figure.
