No stock pics of this place, but it is GREAT. Two words to describe it. HAPPY HOUR. Me and the majority of the Valley Crew met up with the LA Crew to see what was up with this place.
Long story short, I got absolutely shitfaced with a decent amount of BBQ in my belly for 18 bucks. It’s a recession people! Hit this place up!
Check the website, they have deals at all of their locations. We ended up ordering the Kalbi Chuck, both regular and “Cajun” style. If you like food with a bit of kick, DEFINITELY go for the Cajun style. We also had pork belly which wasn’t all that bad.
The specials for 6 dollar pitchers were either Kirin, or Sapporo. Kirin ended up being the better choice. They also serve dollar draft beers of the two I just mentioned.
Once you order appetizers, ask for rice as well. It’s free, but they won’t serve it unless you ask for it.
The service was ehhhhhhh, but it was pretty busy so it didn’t matter all that much, and the servers didn’t have an attitude, so that’s a plus. If you get a chance, definitely go to any of Gyu-Kaku’s locations. You can also reserve online, which is recommended towards the later end of the week. Check their site as well for all sorts of specials going on at a location near you.

The food is decent, but what you really want to be there for is Happy Hour. Trust me.
