For a while now, we’ve been testing out a project semi secretly here on the website. We’re calling it “Republic On The Move”. The Republic is getting bigger by the day which means we are covering alot of ground. We all take camera phone pictures of the places we go, but waiting until we get home to contribute to the site can be a bummer some times because the moment is lost. So with the “Republic On The Move” project we are hoping to capture the moment. To do this, we are going to allow our contributors to post their camera phone pictures directly to our website!

Its just as easy as sending in a twitpic, flickr photo or facebook photo from your camera phone. When the picture(s) appear on the site, they will automatically fit to the size requirements of the site. Clicking on the photo will show the full sized photo! Cool right?

It only takes 5 steps…

1. Take picture (1 or 2 - if youre savvy like that)

2. Elect to send picture as email

3. Give the email a title. Title of email will be title of your post. ( we suggest where you are currently or maybe what youre doing currently… something cool like that)

4. Include any other text about your picture in the body of your email.

5. SEND!

That easy!!

Here are a few examples of what we’ve submitted so far:

Summer sunday afternoons in Hollywood around 2pm you can hear the greatest mix of songs pumping from a small yellow building across from balleys for hours on end.

Its the Do Over. The best place to spend a sunday. The sangria is good and cheap. The liquor is cheap. Its free to get in. the music is great. the crowd is great.
However there is a slight con.. To me. And a super major draw back that would have me never return. First… The capacity for this place is 150 people. So its a lil tight in there. The big major drawback. The unreasonably long line and wait to get in this place. It fucking sucks… Bad. Bad enough to not go if u don’t get there right when it opens.. At 2pm. Seriously. The line fucking sucks. Get there at 2.

The thing is tho. People will actually wait like 2 damn hours to get in. Sit in the heat. In line. And listen to the music from the outside. Its still wack tho. I hate it lol.

But about the music.. The greatest djs spin here� I have been there to hear spindaella, dj stev1der, mr chocc of the world famous beat junkies, dj aries, peanut butter wolf… And I can’t remember who else. I’m typing this from my phone hella drunk. Do u know how long this took me?

No stock pics of this place, but it is GREAT. Two words to describe it. HAPPY HOUR. Me and the majority of the Valley Crew met up with the LA Crew to see what was up with this place.

Slick’s bday was at the end of May, so you know we had to make an appearance and go balls out for one of our own. And let’s just say we made it happen.

Alright. I don’t know why it took me so long to roll tot his place, because it’s literally like two doors down from Primitive. But I finally went with the wife and my pnc OJ on a random Saturday.
